Nomii - Stripper Money (Video)
My name is Nomii Roslaniec and I am a hip hop artist based in Chicago. The reason why I make music is because like many artists I have a message that I want to deliver to the world. I want all the young women of the world to learn how to be independent and be their own boss without depending on nor needing anyone. I also want to express to the world that Hustle is everything. If you want something you have to go get it because it’s not going to just fall in your lap without doing the work.
I am currently promoting my new album BITCH and my most requested song on the album is called “stripper money”. This song happens to be a motivational Women’s Empowerment kind of vibe. A lot of people are often shocked by the name of my album and that was exactly the point. The reason the Album is called Bitch is because I wanted to take the word bitch that is so brutally used and turn it into a term of endearment and put power behind it. Men call us bitches everyday in this generation so I showed you all of my personal “bitch” attitudes on the album. The “boss bitch” is the one who is frequently recognized on the tap.
I’ve been a stripper for three years and everybody associates stripping with such negative roles when in reality most of these girls in the club are stripping to better their life and that’s their only outlet. I know plenty of strippers that are going to be doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers and more. So my song is telling these women to get the money anyway that you can and fuck everybody that’s acting funny, fuck anybody that has anything bad to say! At the end of the day you are going to make it.
I'm a unique artist because I happen to be a singer and a rapper and that is not very common in the music industry for women right now. Yes a lot of women rappers put some auto tune in their vocals and a good engineer can make anything sound good but I really can sing without the auto tune! Another thing that makes me unique is that I’m extremely diverse. I can do pop, country, R&B, Jazz, and rap like a monster.

Exciting New Artist Pops Jr. to Release the Official Video for His Single “#neavhate”
Pops Jr. has continued to establish himself as a force to reckon with in the industry, using his deep yet comical songs to carve a niche for himself in the music industry. Pops Jr. hails out of Washington State Home of Legal Buds, Rainy Skies, and Liberal Coffee Shops. The sound of ’90s R&B seems to be all the rage nowadays. Therefore, it only makes senses that some of our faves from one of the genres golden eras would want to bask a little in all that shine. Welp, ladies, we hope you’re ready to feel like it’s 1997 all over again because Jon B and Donell Jones have teamed up for the unexpected R&B collaboration that you didn’t know you wanted. The duo have released their anticipated single “Understand,” the newest single from Jon that features both crooners doing what they do best.
In a brilliant collaboration with sumptuous, sexy and intriguing vibes and lyrical genius, this new track embodies pure genius. Jon B and Donell Jones have in ‘Understand’ created not only a truly magical song, but a song that in it’s entirety is emotion exquisite.
Once you press play, you’ll notice that there’s no switch up to the formula here. The production for the track sounds like it dropped off of Jon’s ’97 album Cool Relax, from the light strains of guitar to the synth horn stabs on the chorus. Likewise, the fellas’ vocals seem to have aged like fine wine and sound like almost no time has passed since we first met them way back when. Since their voices are similar in tone, the duet is pretty seamless as their harmonies often meld together as they sing about doing any and everything to make their lady know the extent of their love.

Jon and Donell also prove to have an almost brotherly chemistry in the song’s accompanying video. We see them performing the track on a couple of soundstages while dressed in their slickest threads as they serenade the viewer. Jon, of course, gets more screen time since this is his single, but Donell gets a surprising amount of solo shine, too. Also getting time on the screen is the clip’s lone female star, who dances and writhes to the slinky rhythm.
